BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Heavy rains are leading to driving problems in and around Boca Raton, with the City of Boca Raton warning motorists about a dangerous intersection.

City officials late Sunday are telling motorists to stay away from the area of 2000 NW 2nd Avenue through 4000 NW 2nd Avenue. High waters are making roads impassable or at the very least dangerous.

This is the official warning: “HIGH WATER AND FLOODING DUE TO HEAVY RAIN IN THE AREA OF 2000 NW 2ND AVE TO 4000 NW 2ND AVE. PLEASE AVOID THE AREA.”

If you see additional intersections that appear to be dangerous, please alert police, then send us a note at news(at)BocaNewsNow.com, or text our newsroom at 561-676-NEWS.
