BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A major crash has closed Alligator Alley westbound as of 6:30 this morning. The closure continued at 8 a.m.

Traffic cameras — and information reported by South Florida’s First News with Andrew Colton on NewsRadio 610 WIOD — confirm that at least one person is dead in the two-vehicle crash that involved a tractor-trailer and a sedan. The crash is just past Snake Road. Traffic is not getting by — or is moving very slowly on a shoulder. Delays span miles.
