DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Kings Point Delray Beach is keeping it classy! The senior living community that seems to log more arrests than any other community in South Palm Beach County is again sending someone to the slammer. This time, it’s Simone Grion of the Piedmont K section of the community.

According to a police report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Grion was preparing to loan a man $5,000 to buy a truck. But that man wanted $10,000. The man then accused Grion of having a lesbian love affair which didn’t go over so well. Grion demanded her money back, but the man refused to return it. She, according to the police report, pushed the man to the ground.

When the victim spoke with Deputies called to the scene, he allegedly told them that Grion “grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and ripped the shirt.” In fact, Deputies noted that the shirt “was so overly stretched, that the collar hung below his chest line.” That led to Grion being charged with battery.

Simone Grion is the 18th Kings Point Delray Beach resident to be arrested in 2023, and the 40th since 2022. Kings Point, based on unofficial BocaNewsNow.com records, leads all south Palm Beach communities with the number of resident arrests.

Other crimes allegedly committed by Kings Point Delray Beach residents include: drug dealing, drunk driving, sex offenses, battery, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, a woman who resisted arrest, and more. Read our Kings Point Delray Beach coverage here.
