BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you’re heading south to Fort Lauderdale this morning, do not take I-95. A major crash has closed all southbound lanes as of 6:19 a.m. The crash is in the area of Sunrise Blvd.
Delays are now backing up several miles. If you’re heading into Northern Broward, you’ll likely be fine. But traffic cameras from the Florida Department of Transportation show nothing but brake lights for miles.
Your best bet: the Florida Turnpike into the affected area. Expect the delay to continue for hours. The accident is a rollover with injuries.
