On 01 NOV 23, I responded to 33 Gleason St in reference to criminal mischief. A subject, later identified as Stephen Alves, was witnessed writing graffiti on the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach’s wall with a Sharpie. Upon arrival, I met with Church Administrator (redacted) who provided the following sworn statement: She was in her office when Alves knocked on her door inquiring about the feeding program at the Church.

(Redacted) informed Alves the lunch program did not begin until 1100 hours, and to wait 15 minutes for it to start. (Redacted) then observed Alves walk to the Church wall and begin drawing on the wall with a permanent Sharpie marker. Alves drew a star figure on the wall with the permanent Sharpie marker. I did verify the graffiti on the wall in the figure of a star. (Redacted) contacted her co-worker, (redacted), to go watch him until the police arrived.
