Ramona Benedetic, According To Police, Slammed Motorcycle Into West Boca Raton Tree.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton woman is dead following a fatal, one-vehicle crash late Sunday night near the intersection of Lyons Road and Yamato Road in West Boca Raton.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that Ramona Benedetic, 18, of the 500 block of SW 11th Place in Boca Raton, was driving westbound on Yamato Road just west of Lyons. Police say she was “traveling at a high rate of speed (and) for unknown reasons, went off the roadway and mounted the raised center median and continued westbound before striking a large tree.”
Benedetic was ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest roughly ten feet from the motorcycle. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
No other vehicles were involved. She was driving a Kawasaki Ninja, according to crash investigators.
