DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The BurgerFi location at 6 South Ocean Boulevard in Delray Beach faced a series of citations issued during two separate inspections over the past several days. The inspections were conducted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation which oversees health checks for restaurants and hotels.
While BurgerFi was not ordered to close, it is notable that more problems were found during the second inspection than during the first.

High Priority – Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored. Spray bottle of cleaning solution stored with ketchup mayonnaise and mustard packets behind register Removed **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**
Intermediate – No proof of required state approved employee training provided for employee hired more than 60 days ago.
Basic – Floor soiled/has accumulation of debris. Under shelves in walk in cooler **Warning**

Intermediate – Handwash sink removed from food preparation/dishwashing area. Hand wash sink removed from back storage/break room. No food handling in this area .
Intermediate – No proof of required state approved employee training provided for any employees.
Basic – Water leaking from pipe Observed leaking water at drain pipe of ware washing hand wash sink **Warning**
Basic – Standing water or very slow draining water in handwash sink. Observed at ware washing hand wash sink **Warning**
Basic – Floor in disrepair. Observed in walk in cooler **Warning**
