BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Power outages are still affecting portions of Boca Raton and South Palm Beach County, according to readers and information from Florida Power and Light.
Boca Raton’s Town Center Mall is only partially functional, as several stores are and services are closed as a result of ongoing power problems stemming from the wind and storms over the past two days.
Florida Atlantic University, according to several people reaching out, is also experiencing outages on some parts of campus. The outages are not considered to be widespread, but problematic for several on campus.
Traffic lights continue to be out as far west as Glades Road and Lyons, and as far east as Palmetto Park Road near the Mizner Park area. Not all traffic lights are out — the outages are somewhat sporadic.
