BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman we’ll call “Teflon” Anne Curtis is in the Palm Beach County Jail Friday evening following her arrest by Boca Raton Police. We call her “Teflon” because she’s been arrested several times — according to Palm Beach County records obtained by BocaNewsNow.com — yet never convicted. In fact, prosecutors declined to prosecute every single case that is shown as “closed” below. Two cases remain open in addition to the charges filed on November 23, 2023.
Curtis, according to the Palm Beach County Jail, is now facing charges of “larceny — use anti-shoplifting device,” “larceny — grand theft of more than $750 but less than $5,000,” and “possessing a controlled substance without a prescription.” She’s being held on $9,000 bond.
Teflon Curtis’ previous charges include shoplifting, battery, and more. Curtis lives in the 2100 block of Wingate Bend in Wellington.

She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail just past midnight on Thanksgiving. The arrest report continues to be processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts. It was not immediately clear where she was taken into custody, and what police specifically allege she was doing that led to her arrest.
