DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The overnight arrest of a Kings Point Delray Beach resident brings the senior living community’s 2023 arrest record to the unprecedented level set in 2022. At least 21 residents of Kings Point Delray Beach have been taken into custody during the 2023 calendar year. BocaNewsNow.com believes that makes Kings Point Delray Beach the senior living community with the most resident arrests in South Palm Beach County for at least two years running.
The latest: Robert Stanco of Burgandy D. He was taken into custody Saturday night by the Boynton Beach Police Department and charged with enhanced DUI. The official charge: “DUI – unlawful blood alcohol — .15 or higher OR with person under 18 in vehicle.” It was not immediately clear which of the two enhancement clauses are in effect. The arrest report continues to be processed Sunday morning.
It was also not immediately clear where Stanco was stopped, or what led Boynton Beach Police to believe that he was operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Stanco, 65, is the 21st Kings Point Delray Beach resident to be arrested during the 2023 calendar year, and 42nd since the start of 2022. Among the other alleged criminals jailed from Kings Point: residents accused of drug dealing, drunk driving, sex offenses, battery, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, a woman who resisted arrest, and more.
