DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach woman apparently attacked the overnight guest of a relative with a broom while screaming “get this wh-re out of my house!” That woman, Martha Abramson, is now facing a felony battery charge after being booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.

According to a police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, a young woman was spending the night with Martha Abramson’s nephew in a home on Springdale Way in Delray Beach. The woman says she was awoken to, “(Martha Abramson) inside the room yelling and screaming at her. The female kept saying get his (wh-re) out of my house.” Abramson then, allegedly, “came back with a broomstick, then started hitting her with the broomstick.”

The police report adds that while Abramson allegedly attacked the victim with a broom, another woman in the house pulled the victim from the house by her hair. The victim got dressed, left, and then returned to speak with police who documented injuries including “fresh redness, black and blue marks on (both) legs.”

Martha Abramson was charged with aggravated battery. The other woman was apparently not charged. Abramson was booked and released. A court date is pending.
