DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The first Kings Point Delray Beach arrest of 2024 is now on the books, as the senior living community sets off to beat its 2022 and 2023 arrest records.

Steven Feig of Brittany F is in the Palm Beach County Jail Thursday morning, charged with battery on an officer, resisting an officer with violence, and failure to appear for a previous court date. He was arrested by the Palm Springs (Florida) police department on Tuesday. The police report continues to be processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts.

Feig is 38 years old, much younger than the typical Kings Point Delray Beach resident. It’s not immediately clear if he is living with someone else in the community, or possessing a unit on his own. The unit, according to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser, is part of a trust.

With Feig’s arrest, Kings Point is now starting its quest to beat the arrests logged in 2023 and 2022. Our records show that 22 Kings Point residents were arrested in 2023, beating by one the 21 arrests logged in 2022. We believe there is no other senior living community in South Palm Beach County with more resident arrests than Kings Point. Among the 2023 arrests: residents accused of drug dealing, drunk driving, sex offenses, battery, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, a woman who resisted arrest, and more. 1. I must say that I am disappointed in your coverage of Kings Point. Yes, it’s true that 23 residents were arrested last year. But when one compares the number of arrests to the total population of approximately 10,000, one can easily see that fewer than one-quarter of one percent were arrested. I don’t see this as a particularly high ratio, but I’m sure you can extrapolate these numbers to smaller gated communities to see if their number of arrests correlates with KP.
