PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A shooting Thursday afternoon in Lake Park is now being investigated as a homicide. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says the victim died Friday morning.
PBSO issued this advisory shortly after the incident on Thursday:
At 4:24 pm, deputies responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Bayberry Drive, Lake Park. Upon arrival deputies located a male suffering from gunshot wound(s). PBC Fire Rescue transported the male to a local hospital for treatment where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate further. Motive and suspect information is unknown at this time.
