BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Ben’s Kosher Deli at 9942 Clint Moore Road was ordered closed on February 8th by a health inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The Deli was permitted to reopen the following day after ten violations were cured.
Per BocaNewsNow.com policy, the following is the unedited violation list filed with the State of Florida.
High Priority – Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area. Observed approximately 50 live small flying insects landing on boxes/shelving holding dry storage items next to back door in kitchen Observed 15 live small flying insects hovering and landing on shelf and bottles on vinegar in prep area next to back door in kitchen. Observed approximately 5 live small insects hovering and landing on equipment/clean wares in ware washing area in kitchen. Observed 1 live small flying insect landing on wall at soda station in front of cook line in kitchen. Observed 3 live small flying insects landing at front deli line soda machine. The violations were corrected within a day and Ben’s Kosher Deli in Boca Raton was permitted to reopen on February 9th, 2024.
