MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An overturned tractor-trailer has shut I-95 southbound in the area of Miami-Gardens Drive. All southbound lanes — including express lanes — are closed. We have learned it is a Coke truck — bottles and cans of Coke and Sprite are all over the highway.

The backup stretches for miles. While not impacting Palm Beach County traffic, anyone heading south into southern Broward County — or to Miami — should consider alternate routes as the backup grows. The closure could continue throughout much of rush hour.

The cab of the truck is seen overturned on the side of the road. The back of the tractor-trailer seems completely destroyed, with the contents spread all over the interstate.
