DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A hyperbaric chamber is leaking in a facility on Linton Blvd. in Delray Beach as of 7 p.m. Saturday. A Hazmat squad from Boca Raton and firefighters from Delray Beach are on the scene.
The chamber, apparently at Hyperbaric Services of the Palm Beaches at 5130 Linton Blvd., is in a building. It’s unclear what specifically is leaking although the initial belief is oxygen — the main gas in a hyperbaric chamber. It’s not immediately known what led to the leak, the size of the leak, or whether evacuations will be needed. This is a largely commercial area near the intersection of Linton and Military Trail.
Hyperbaric Services of the Palm Beaches promotes “Hyperbaric Oxygen Is The Solution” and a place where “patients sit in an oxygen chamber with the air pressure increased two to three times higher than normal air pressure. Under these conditions, your lungs can gather much more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. The pressure increases the amount of oxygen at the cellular level, aiding the body’s natural healing process.”
Check back for updates.

Well this is concerning.
Side note, that sort of sounds amazing and once it’s cleared I think I’m checking that out.
My husband will totally lose it when he finds out he is paying for oxygen!!
