LAKE WORTH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — One dirt biker is dead and another is in serious condition at Delray Medical Center after the two bikers collided head-on in Lake Worth.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that Daniel Munevar of Blistering Way in Lake Worth was “traveling northbound the grass on a non-functioning golf course (near Lyons Road and Lantana Road) while Nicholas Silva of East Calumet Circle was traveling southbound towards Munevar. Both drivers did not identify each other until it was too late to avoid a crash, because of vegetation in the area.”

“As the crash ensued,” said PBSO, “both riders were ejected from the vehicles and impacted onto the ground where they came to rest. Munevar died on the scene from injuries sustained during the crash. Nicholas Silva was transported to Delray Medical Center and underwent emergency surgery. He remains in serious condition early Wednesday afternoon.”

The crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The golf course was known as “Park Ridge Golf Course” according to public mapping applications. Daniel Munevar, 18, was riding a KTM Dirt Bike. Silva, 14, was riding a Honda dirt bike.
