How Are These People Allowed To Drive? Welcome To Today’s Nominations For Boca Rudeton.

Two Bad Parkers Top Our Boca Rudeton Nominations for Thursday, including this bad Parker near Glades Road and the Florida Turnpike.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The selfish, self-absorbed Boca Raton residents or visitors who just don’t know how to park continues to be a thing with two nominees today for our coveted Boca Rudeton award. It remains a mystery to us — and to our readers — just what goes through the apparently challenged mind of a driver who feels the lines don’t apply to them, or whatever car they are driving.
We start with the Discovery above, the one with Florida tag 71DJMZ. Parking near the Bagelworks at Glades Road and the Turnpike, this driver apparently doesn’t understand that the lines are supposed to be on either side of the vehicle — not running through the middle. We’re unclear how people like this actually get a license (or even if this driver has a license), but we accept it as a Boca Rudeton nomination.

We also accept a nomination for the white Buick above, showing Florida tag BXB4LL. The driver of this car also seems to have a parking problem. Again we say: lines are not a suggestion. They’re like walls that you can see through. If you’re going to be driving on streets, you certainly should know how to park.

So who wins? Our judges reviewed both photos and decided that the Bagel Works Discovery is our winner of the day. While we don’t give prizes, if we did, it would be a bagel with cream cheese dangling off the sides but nowhere near the middle. As it gets all over your fingers, perhaps you — oh driver of Discovery with Florida plate 71DJMZ — will remember that things belong where things belong.
We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. Hey now, maybe the Range Rover driver was getting glasses at the store next door, because they sure as hell need some.
I agree
You guys crack me up! I’m so happy that you are calling attention to these parking situations. So many times I have tried to park in what looks like a spot only to get there to see that someone has taken up two parking spots…
I love your Boca News…Keep up the good detective work.
This 2 are really winners for Boca Rudeton Awards
and yes I agree and a new pair of glasses for each. Love your Boca News thank you
Love you Boca News
I see so much of this. I am going to send you some pictures. Love this. People just think about themselves.
The entitlement crowd , who think they are exempt from laws , rules and common courtesy.
Target in Delray seems to have a daily doggie parade inside the store. I would love to see Boca News shame them.
I have the orher side. My husband is disabled in a large wheelchair there are so few HP spaces available that i often am required to park in two spaces so i can get my husband safely out of the car you have no idea how hard it is to get a wheelchair bound person out of a car in a crowded lot and keep him from being run over
Understood, but after he exits, pull the car into a single parking space.
A great example of Boca Rudeton: Go east over the Camino bridge every 20 minutes during the day and view these entitled Boca drivers who don’t think they should wait their turn in line. Instead they are entitled and should go to the front of the line and butt in the front of everyone waiting on the correct lane. Definitely needs pole dividers found at Spanish River and a1a at Camino
