BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton resident Tiffany Cruz is facing an enhanced DUI charge following an incident early Saturday morning in West Boca Raton.

According to citations reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Cruz, of the 9800 block of Liberty Road, caused a crash that left $30,000 in damage. The crash occurred on West Palmetto Park Road in the area of Beracasa Way around 1:45 in the morning.

While the arrest report continues to be processed Saturday afternoon, BocaNewsNow.com has learned that Cruz was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail after providing a breath sample of .234. That’s nearly three times the legal limit of .08.

Cruz, 39, was booked into jail at 3:48 a.m. and later released on $1000 bond. She is officially charged with “DUI — unlawful blood alcohol — DUI damage to property or person.” A court date is pending.
