BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you don’t normally wear a seatbelt, Sunday is a great day to start. Unless you want a ticket and possibly additional criminal violations from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. PBSO says it will engage in a major seatbelt enforcement action all over Palm Beach County on St. Patrick’s Day.
PBSO shared this advisory with BocaNewsNow.com:
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a countywide Occupant Protection Enforcement on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
The purpose of this operation is to conduct high-visibility, zero-tolerance enforcement of all Florida State Statutes regarding seat belt usage and child safety restraints. Another part of this campaign is to educate the public on the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt or securing a child in a properly installed car seat and safety belt.
The locations of the enforcement will be the major roadways in Palm Beach County.
It never has been and never will be St Patty’s day – please it is St Paddy’s day if you want to use the abbreviation.
