BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Mizner Grand Condominium Association is facing a major lawsuit, filed by a contractor who alleges the Association bilked it out of more than $50,000.

Mizner Grand, located at 500 SE 5th Street in Boca Raton, apparently contracted Citiquiet Windows and Doors to install $110,258 worth of doors on the property. The door order included eight custom made “Double French Doors.” While the condo association paid roughly half, Citiquiet alleges that the remaining $51,523.63 remains unpaid.

The company wants its money.

According to the suit, the doors were installed, but the payment was not made. “Under the circumstances,” wrote an attorney, “it would be unjust and inequitable to allow the Defendant to retain the benefit of the work performed on the Property without the Plaintiff retaining payment of $51,523.63.” The suit was just filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court.
