DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s rare that we get a photo that is an automatic Boca Rudeton winner, so today must be a rare day. There’s no competition. Not even close. Look at the photo above. It’s a woman with her bare feet — resting on a booth — in Lindburger’s Delray Beach.

We don’t know how this isn’t a health code violation. We don’t know how this woman doesn’t end up handcuffed and locked up somewhere. It’s gross. It’s disgusting. And it’s difficult to believe that none of the apparently incompetent employees at Lindburger’s didn’t tell the woman to put her shoes on or leave the restaurant. If she refused, police should have been called to escort her from the property.

This is a place where people eat. This is a place where people expect an acceptable level of cleanliness under the watchful eyes of food service professionals. Instead, they get this disgusting human putting her bare feet on a seat at Lindburger’s Delray Beach.

So gross. Do you know whose feet these are? A woman decided to place them, uncovered, on a booth at Lindburger’s in Delray Beach.

To our readers: we believe you should boycott this restaurant. We have seen dog after dog in here, and now we are literally seeing dirty feet out in the open, on a booth, inches away from where food is served.

Lindburger’s: you’re gross. Lady with exposed feet at Lindburger’s: you are a horrible human being who is so incredibly classless that we will forever refer to you as “summer break.” (Think about it). You are the winner of today’s Boca Rudeton, but we’re donating your prize — if we had such a thing — to a facility that works with people who have lost their feet in horrific accidents. People who would do anything to have a foot to cover up in a restaurant. Ma’am: you are the very epitome of Boca Rudeton.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. 1. Shoes are required to enter a restaurant and naturally are not to be removed during your visit. I go to Lindbergers often, and I am so disappointed that the manager did not address this health violation. It makes me wonder what else are they being lackadaisical about.

  2. What a bummer. I love your onion rings but this editorial in today’s paper will
    cancel my patronage of LINDENBURG’S.

This kind of coverage could put you right out of business..

    Good luck.

  3. Sandals, Flip-Flops, with feet being loose or out of their sandals, is not at all, OUT OF CONTEXT here in the tropics, a.k.a. south florida. Supposing feet are more “flagrantly dirty” than any persons rear end is a stretch also. This total exaggeration, especially if this is a dive bar or taco truck, where the the sauce container themselves are home to bacteria in some places that have no earthly known definition yet. Lastly, why does she even need sandals, is it in the keys or miami beach ?

  4. For those who think it’s ok-
Next time about the leg on the table (have seen it already)
It all goes back to management.
A restaurant reflects the manager’s rules. If he or she is ok with most imagine how their home is period.
Thank you for always reminding the do’s and don’ts since lately all is ok and acceptable.
The second root of these issues is how you were raised. Sadly mannerism is not tought it is acquired by example as part of parenting individuals into society.

  5. She’s from New York no doubt. I work in Boca and that’s all I hear after I call someone out on their crazy behavior, “Well I’ll have you know, I’m from New York, so I didn’t know that I’m not allowed to do (fill in blank), while I’m on vacation in Boca/Delray/Florida”.

  6. No class whatsoever. And no consideration for others who are trying to enjoy a meal and are forced to see those nasty feet while they are eating. What a low-life!

  7. Get a grip people. You probably wear sandals or flip flops into a restaurant. Is that really much different? I think it’s gross to put the feet up like she’s in her living room but you don’t even know if the manager or employees even knew. This is a picture of one moment. It could have been a few seconds and it was over.
