Early Thursday Morning Incident Remains Under Investigation.

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man is dead and an investigation is underway after an early morning crash on State Road 7/U.S. 441 in Boynton Beach.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in a statement to BocaNewsNow.com, a Nissan Altima driven by a Wellington man was traveling south on State Road 7, in the inside lane, around 5:44 a.m. An unidentified white male was crossing SR7 mid-block. That man crossed in front of the Nissan, violating the right of way. The front left of the Nissan struck the man.
The man was propelled onto the hood of the Nissan and his head struck the lower part of the windshield. The man was then vaulted over the Nissan, rubbing along the roof. The Nissan was brought to a controlled rest in the inside lane.
The man came to rest behind the Nissan, in the inside lane. He was pronounced deceased on scene. No charges have been filed. Investigators are still identifying the victim as of Thursday afternoon.
