BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A serial rapist has been nabbed in Palm Beach County, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The announcement was made Wednesday night.
PBSO issued this advisory to BocaNewsNow.com:
“Detectives from the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual battery of a 41 year old female. Probable cause was established for a suspect, Vincent Ernerst Laing Jr., and an arrest warrant was secured. Today, May 8, 2024, Laing was located, arrested and booked into the PBC Jail for one count of Sexual Battery with a Deadly Weapon by Force.”
Laing was originally wanted out of the Orlando area. It was not immediately clear how he was track to Palm Beach County, or whether he is accused of committing crimes here. His first appearance in court is expected Thursday.
