Overnight Crash Leaves At Least One Dead On I-95 In North Broward

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An overnight crash that may have been the result of a police chase left at least one person dead and several critically injured on I-95 near Copans Road in North Broward County.

While we are awaiting an official statement from Florida Highway Patrol, initial information from emergency responders indicates what may have been a chase led to a multi-car crash in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Copans around midnight.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and at least three people were rushed to area hospitals by Broward County Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue vehicles.
