BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man last seen in West Boca Raton is the subject of a massive search Wednesday afternoon. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office activated its robocall system and is asking anyone with information to come forward. Here’s what the agency shared with BocaNewsNow.com:
“The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Scott James Woods. Scott was last seen on May 6, 2024, in the Boca Raton area walking southbound on Lyons Road from Palmetto Park Road. He was last seen on foot wearing a gray t-shirt, gray sweatpants, blue Asics shoes, and sunglasses. Scott has been diagnosed with dementia.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact PBSO at 561-688-3400 or your closest law enforcement agency.”
Foul play, at this point, is not believed to be a factor. But it’s unclear where Mr. Woods went or why he has not been heard from or seen in nearly ten days.
