Tesla Fully Engulfed. Driver Pronounced Dead In Weston. Victim Not Identified Due To Severity Of Fire.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An early morning single car crash involving a Tesla Model 3 left the vehicle engulfed in flames and the driver dead. The Broward Sheriff’s Office issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com about the Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA).
According to investigators, the fiery collision occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 26, near State Road 84 and Bonaventure Boulevard. The preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a 2024 Tesla Model 3 was traveling eastbound on State Road 84 approaching Bonaventure Boulevard. As the Tesla entered the U-turn lane to proceed under the Interstate 75 overpass, the driver—for unknown reasons—failed to negotiate the turn and drove off the roadway, striking the support column for the Interstate 75 overpass.
Detectives say the vehicle engulfed in flames following impact.
BSO deputies responded to investigate. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue also responded and extinguished the flames. Emergency crews pronounced the driver deceased on scene. The identity of the driver is unknown at this time due to the severity of his burns.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remains under investigation.
Tesla, these cars are so dangerous, and so expensive, why are they still selling, I don’t think anyone will ever pay the full cost of the vehicle before they find that it is expensive to maintain and keep it on the road, so far I have seen nothing that would entice me to get one.
They are wonderful cars. Any car can hit a wall an explode or catch fire. 3:30 in the am, I’d say it’s not the cars fault
