DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you happen to see a Lamborghini Urus driving around Delray Beach — specifically by a man identified as Gregory Wright — you may want to give Porsche Leasing a call. The company says Wright signed for the vehicle but is now hiding it — and owes $190,581.20.
Wright, of the 300 block of NW 3rd Avenue in Delray, initiated a lease for the 2021 Lamborghini back in June of 2021. He was then to pay $3409.87 each month for 36 months. And he did. At least for a while. But the complaint obtained by BocaNewsNow.com says that Wright stopped paying in February of 2024.
”As of this filing,” wrote attorneys for Porsche Leasing, “the amount due and owing under the contract is $190,581.20, exclusive of interest fees, and costs. Pursuant to the terms of the Contract, Defendant is required to make timely monthly payments to Porsche Leasing in the amount of $3409.87, for a total of 36 months. Defendant has failed to make payments as required by the terms of the contract since February 2024 and is otherwise in default of the Contract.”
So where’s the car? Attorneys for Porsche leasing think they have a general idea. And they want it back.
”Upon information and belief, the subject vehicle is currently garaged in palm Beach County, Florida. Through information and belief, the Defendant is engaging in, or are about to engage in, conduct that may place the claimed property in danger of destruction, concealment, waste, removal from the state, removal from the jurisdiction of the court, or transfer to an innocent purchaser… The Defendant has purposely concealed the whereabouts of the subject vehicle, and aggressively refused all attempts by Porsche Leasing to recover the same, and there is a serious and real danger that the Defendant may attempt to sell and/or transfer the vehicle to an innocent third party.”
The suit seeks a judge to order repossession of the vehicle and back payment. Porsche is represented by the law firm of Cole Scott and Kissane, P.A. In Miami.
