DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Delray Beach resident Andre’s Vidal is facing multiple serious charges Thursday morning following his arrest late Wednesday by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. While the affidavit of probable cause continues to be processed early Thursday, BocaNewsNow.com has learned that the arrest stems from allegations of human trafficking.

Vidal, 30, is officially charged with “human trafficking — human trafficking and commit sexual act on a (victim) under the age of 18 years of age (and with) mental defect or incapacity.” He is additionally charged with “interference with custody of a minor or incompetent person.” It was not immediately clear if Vidal has a relationship with the alleged victim.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, according to records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, obtained a warrant for Vidal’s arrest which suggests he was the subject of an ongoing investigation. We expect to learn more when the arrest report is processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts.
Andres Vidal lists the 4000 block of Sunflower Avenue in Delray Beach as his home address. That’s north of Lake Ida Road and east of Barwick Boulevard. He was taken into custody Wednesday evening and booked into the Palm Beach County jail just before 10:30 p.m. He remains held without bond Thursday morning.
