It’s going to be hot and feel hotter in Delray Beach, Boca Raton Boynton Beach, and across Palm Beach County this weekend.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There’s no “heat advisory” as of early Saturday morning, but expect exceptionally warm temperatures in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth Beach, and most of Palm Beach County. The heat index — or “real feel” temperature — could hit 103.

The National Weather Service today is calling showers and thunderstorms all day into the evening. Otherwise, expect an actual high of 90 or so. The chance of rain is 60 percent. If you’re heading out Saturday night, note that there’s a 30-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, likely before 10 p.m.

The heat index on Sunday will again approach 103 with a chance of showers and thunderstorms all day. Rain could be heavy at times. Expect wind gust approaching 20 miles per hour.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are set to bring more rain and thunderstorms with highs near 90 each day. The overnight lows will hover in the upper 70s and low 80s. The Atlantic basin remains calm as we enter the second full week of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.
