BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The latest person to vanish from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport is a 55-year-old man. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is now looking for Jean Claude Beauvoir who vanished on Tuesday.
According to detectives, Jean Claude Beauvil was last seen around 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. He is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
According to his family, Beauvil only speaks Creole. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
Beavuil is one in a series of people who have seemingly vanished from the airport over the past two years or so. One woman was found dead miles away. BSO urges anyone who has family flying into FLL — and may not speak English or feel comfortable in an airport environment — to have a specific plan for meeting that family member upon arrival.
