BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A resident of Century Village is starting Friday in the Palm Beach County Jail following his arrest by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office late Thursday night.
Paul Clarke, of Brighton B in the Boca Raton senior living community, was taken into custody around 9:19 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence — “DUI influence of alcohol or drugs” according to the Palm Beach County Jail. He is being held on $1,000 bond.
It was not immediately clear where Clarke was apprehended or what led police to believe that Clarke was operating a vehicle while under the influence. The arrest report was still being processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts early Friday morning.
It was also not clear why Clarke is living in Century Village, a community marketed to senior citizens. Born in April of 1983, Clarke is 41 years old — significantly younger than the traditional age of a Century Village resident.
Another one that should not be living in a 55+ community.
