BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you see a red car like the one above, please call the Coconut Creek Police immediately. You may also remain anonymous by reaching out to CrimeStoppers. The car is wanted in connection to the fatal hit and run on Lyons Road that we told you about in late June.

The Coconut Creek Police Department issued this advisory to BocaNewsNow.com:

The Coconut Creek Police Department needs your help finding a vehicle of interest in a recent hit and run traffic fatality. It is a molten lava red, 2018 – 2021 Honda Civic SI. The pictures attached are stock photos of what the car looks like; it is not the actual vehicle. The one we are looking for is missing its right side mirror.

It will likely have damage consistent with swiping a guardrail, and damage to the front windshield. The crash involved a pedestrian and happened on June 26th in the 400 block of South Lyons Road. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 954-973-6700, or email trafficunit@coconutcreek.net. The investigation is ongoing.
