UPDATE: At 8:03 p.m, PBSO advises that “both occupants, adult males, were pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital. PBSO will secure the wreckage scene until the arrival of NTSB which we be sometime Thursday, July 11, 2024.”
UPDATE: At 5:01 p.m., PBSO advises that “two males have been recovered from the water and have been transported by ground to a local hospital. Condition is unknown.”
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A plane crashed near North Palm Beach County Airport Wednesday afternoon. Fire Rescue remains on the scene as of 3:20 p.m. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com:
“At 2:12 pm, deputies responded 11600 block of Aviation Blvd (North County Airport). Deputies learned that an aircraft with two occupants entered a body of water nearby. Currently, PBSO divers, PB Gardens Fire Rescue and PBC Fire Rescue divers are in the water searching for the occupants. WPB PD Marine Unit and PBSO Marine Unit are in route to assist further.
