UPDATE: Police tell us at 6:44 pm that she has been found and is safe.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The search is on midday Friday for a teen missing from Pompano Beach. Janyiah Dillard, 17, vanished on Wednesday. The Broward Sheriff’s Office provided BocaNewsNow.com with this information:

Dillard was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, near the 2800 block of Northwest 30th Avenue. Dillard was last seen wearing a black sweater, gray tank top with a Nike logo, gray jeans and black shoes. She is approximately 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 84 pounds and has orange hair and brown eyes.  

According to Dillard’s mother, she has ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder).
