DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An alleged pervert is the latest Kings Point Delray Beach resident to be arrested, as the community is on track to beat its own lofty arrest record. Oscar Apuli is the 16th person to be arrested in 2024 and the 36th to be arrested since the start of 2023 — making Kings Point Delray Beach the senior living community with the most arrested residents in South Palm Beach County.
While the arrest report continues to be processed, the Palm Beach County Jail tells BocaNewsNow.com that Apuli is charged with one count of “obscene communication — travel to meet after using a computer to lure a child.” We will learn the specifics of the arrest early next week. For now, we know he is being held on $20,000 bond.
Apuli, 78, was taken into custody either very late Friday night or early Saturday morning. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Delray Beach Police made the arrest. He lives in the Flanders E section of Kings Point.
Kings Point Delray Beach, according to BocaNewsNow.com’s unofficial records, sends more residents to jail than any other senior living community in South Palm Beach County. Apuli is at least the 36th resident to be arrested since the start of 2023. Among the other arrests: residents accused of sex abuse, drunk driving, drug use, drug distribution, illegal weapons use, battery, assault, and more.

Place looks like Army Barracks.
