DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — For the second time in just days, a resident of the senior living community of Kings Point in Delray Beach has been taken into custody. This is the 17th arrest of a Kings Point resident in 2024 and the 37th since the start of 2023.
The latest to be cuffed: Paul Heffler of 125 Waterford F. Mr. Heffler was arrested on a warrant from another county. It was not immediately clear which county issued the warrant. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s database does now show an active warrant for Mr. Heffler in the State of Florida.
Here’s what we do know from the Palm Beach County Jail: Heffler, 69 ,was taken into custody on July 19th at 2:21 in the afternoon. He has remained behind bars since that time. Bond has not been set. The Palm Beach County court system is not showing as of Monday morning, what charges led to the warrant which led to his arrest. It was also not clear where Mr. Heffler was taken into custody.
Heffler joins the increasingly long list of Kings Point Delray Beach residents who have been jailed over the past few years.
