BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A resident of the senior living community of Century Village Boca raton is facing multipel charges following her arrest by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Nicole Handerhan was taken into custody early Sunday morning.

Handerhan’s arrest report continues to be processed early Monday, but BocaNewsNow.com has learned from the Palm Beach County Jail that she was arrested and charged with “burglary (of an) unoccupied structure unarmed” and “larceny — petit theft of merchandise (used in) farm or transit.”

We note that Ms. Handerhan is younger than the traditional Century Village resident. Century Village is a senior living community. Handerhan is 51. She lives in the Mansfield section of Century Village. She was booked into jail at 4:35 Sunday morning and released around 5:30 Sunday evening.

This marks what we believe to be the third arrest of a Century Village this calendar year. The other major senior living community in South Palm Beach County, Kings Point, has seen 19 residents arrested this year and 39 since the start of 2023.
