PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Ten people are confirmed dead Tuesday morning following a Monday night single car crash in Belle Glade. This is an update to a story previously reported by BocaNewsNow.com where authorities initially believed four people were killed.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a 2023 Ford Explorer was traveling westbound on Hatton Highway, approaching a left (southbound) curve on the roadway. For undetermined reasons, the Explorer failed to properly negotiate the left curve of the roadway. It drove off the roadway, onto the grass shoulder, then impacted the guardrail and overturned as it came to final rest in the canal.
The driver and three occupants were pronounced dead on the scene. Five additional occupants were pronounced dead at St. Mary’s Medical Center. One person, identified as Jorden Hall, age 26, remains hospitalized.

UPDATE: The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office provided the following victim names to BocaNewsNow.com Tuesday afternoon. These are people who were killed: Nalea Tucker, Age 1, from “unknown.” Kamdien Edwards, age 5, from Bridgeport, CT. Yasire Smith, Age 5, from “unknown.” Zlaire Mack, age 3, from Chesapeake, VA. Pamela Wiggins, age 56, from “unknown.” She is the driver of the vehicle. Michael Anthony Hall, Jr., age 14, from “unknown.” Imani Andre Ajani Hall, age 8, from “unknown.” Lelana Alyse Hall, age 29, from “unknown.” Anyia Monique Lee Tucker, age 21, from Bridgeport, CT. In serious condition: Jorden Rickey Hall, age 26, from “unknown.”
Very said news. There was another fatal accident up that way, a week ago Friday. It appears as though many or all were from the same family. My heart breaks for their loss of life.
