Ryan Lewis Remains In Jail. Unclear Why Alleged Victim Kept Compromising Photos In Cloud.

That’s one of the take-aways from the arrest of Ryan Lewis, a Boca Raton man accused of hacking into a Delray Beach woman’s social media accounts and posting her nude photos all over the ‘net. Lewis allegedly not only posted them, but emailed them and texted them too. Among the recipients: the woman’s mother, her coworkers, her friends, and more.
BocaNewsNow.com obtained the affidavit of probable cause filed in the arrest of Lewis who lives in the 300 block of NW 42nd Street in Boca. He was apparently in a relationship with the woman which ended poorly. Lewis, according to the arrest report, initiated a spy-like effort to hack the woman’s accounts. He allegedly gained access to her Snapchat, Instagram, iCloud, Facebook, and other accounts. He apparently tried to hide his efforts by using various “hide my email” services like the one offered by Apple, but search warrants — according to police — revealed his true identity.
The images released by Ryan are said to show the woman in various poses and levels of nudity, some with someone else’s hand on various parts of her body, some just showing her body unclothed. It was not clear why the woman would keep naked photos of herself online. Apparently some were in her Snapchat and Instagram accounts which made it easy for Ryan to allegedly release them as a “story” for all to see. The arrest report notes that Ryan successfully changed the verification phone number for at least one of the accounts to his own, making cancellation efforts by the victim impossible.
Ryan was arrested by the Delray Beach Police Department and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. He is charged with “access computer electronic device without authority,” “stalking – sexually cyberharass another person,” and “stalking – follow, harass, cyberstalk another person.” He is being held on $75,000 bond.
