BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — More than one million FPL customers are without power early Thursday morning across the State of Florida. The official number: 1,153,193. And FPL doesn’t service the entire state. Of those outages, 76,160 are in Palm Beach County — rough ten percent of all FPL customers in Palm Beach County.

The hardest hit county is Sarasota with 225,520 customer outages as of 7 a.m. Also on the list:

VOLUSIA: 98,530 customers without power.

ST. LUCIE: 48,870 customers without power.

FLAGLER: 50.050 customers without power.

COLLIER: 69,760 customers without power.

CHARLOTTE: 91,900 customers without power.

BREVARD: 86,140 customers without power.

BROWARD: 2,851 customers without power.
