Our tipster says this woman outside Crumbl on Glades Road doesn’t have a handicapped plate or placard, and just wanted closer access to the cookie store. Welcome to Boca Rudeton!

And Those People With Their Dogs… They’re Really Annoying Residents In Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton…

BY: STAFF REPORT | BocaNewsNow.com

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Welcome to another edition of Boca Rudeton, our exclusive look at the some of the (allegedly) rudest people in and around South Palm Beach County. People who bring dogs into places where they should not be. And thanks to our tipsters everywhere, people who park where they are (allegedly) not allowed. That’s where we start on this Monday. At Crumbl Cookies at 2200 Glades Road…

As you can see in the image above, this woman is apparently parking in a handicapped spot. Yet, according to our tipster, she has no tag or placard indicating that she’s allowed to park in a spot reserved for people who don’t have use of their legs, feet, arms, or suffer from problems other than the disease known as “I need cookies now-itis.” Our tipster says her passenger, who ran into Crumbl, apparently couldn’t be bothered to walk from the non-handicapped parking spots just yards away.

Duffys West Boca Dog
This dog in Duffy’s at Glades and U.S. 441 in West Boca Raton raises many questions. Among them: why is it there?

We now move to Duffy’s at Glades and U.S. 441 in West Boca. It’s there we find the woman, above, with her dog. Stop us if you’ve heard this before: it’s illegal to bring a dog into a restaurant or supermarket if it’s not a legitimate service dog trained to preform a specific function. “Emotional Support Animals” aren’t legit. And it’s a crime in Florida to lie about the status of your animal.

So many dogs in Cream at Mizner Park in Boca Raton. They’re all not supposed to be there. Crema, according to our tipsters, is having a major dog violation problem. (We thank this tipster for the cool montage).

Crema it Mizner Park in Boca Raton continues to have a major dog problem. Laws be damned! We have received a huge number of photos from customers at Crema who say they’ll never come back after watching dogs slobber and do other things in the restaurant. We’re watching health department inspections. We’ll let you know as soon as there’s anything official.

The dog in the store at Bedner’s Market on the Bedner’s Farm in Boynton Beach seemingly violates a number of Florida agricultural laws.

And we finish for now at Bedner’s Farm on U.S. 441 in Boynton Beach. There couldn’t be more signs around Bedner’s with Florida agriculture laws that spell out what you can — and can’t — do on a farm in the State of Florida. Among them: you can’t bring your own animal. So we are perplexed as to why this woman felt it was okay to bring her dog into the legitimate “Farmer’s Market” on the Bedner’s farm. We bet she doesn’t do it again, now that’s she’s been featured in our Boca Rudeton segment.

So who is our winner this week? Let’s paws the dogs (see what we did there?) and suggest that the woman potentially parking illegally is our bad cookie. Although we don’t give actual prizes, we’re going to give her a walker. Why? So she knows what it’s like for people who truly need a handicapped spot and find it challenging to get from place to place. If she’s parked in handicapped space illegally, it means someone who truly needs it can’t be there. That makes her not just a horrible person, but our Boca Rudeton winner of the week.

  1. Keep up the Boca rudeton.
Unfortunately as I wrote before when I complained to management of one restaurant and the headquarters of Cheesecake Factory, they both responded the same. Our employees are instructed to not question, challenge or query customers.
Hopefully, the board of health will get in this SOON after all your articles.
