BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boynton Beach man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly placed tracking devices in his ex-wife’s car and car that he gave his daughter. Both say Timothy Hill of the 1000 block of NW 10th Street in Boynton Beach kept showing up at places where they were located in Delray Beach and across South Florida, although he should have had no idea where they were.

We’ll start with Timothy’s soon-to-be ex-wife. She told police that she went out to dinner and suddenly saw him sitting outside. He would have had no idea where she was. But he did. And was there. On another day, she went to the bank. Deposited money. He then allegedly appeared at the bank minutes later and withdrew the money she deposited. The woman got suspicious and — using an app to find bluetooth devices — found a Samsung tracker in the car.

Next, Timothy’s daughter who is in school out of the area also noticed something was weird when her dad showed up at places where she was located. While he gave her the car, she said he never said anything about a tracking device allegedly planted behind the radio. She found it, however, and removed it.

Boynton Beach Detectives, according to a report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, used the same bluetooth tracking app that the ex-wife used to locate devices and confirm their existence. Police, however, were unable to officially connect the devices to Timothy Hill. Despite a subpoena, Samsung allegedly reported that the devices were never registered.

Even so, Timothy Hill is now facing two counts of “installation of a tracking device.” According to police, “Timothy Hill did install a tracking device or tracking application on the vehicle of (his soon-to-be ex-wife) and his daughter without their consent.” He’s also charged with two counts of stalking. Hill was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. He’s being held on more than $50,000 bond.
