BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman arrested on the campus of Florida Atlantic University is facing multiple charges Wednesday morning, according to documents reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com. Delilah Sinopoli of South Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach was arrested late Sunday night. She was booked into jail early Monday morning and later released pending trial.

While the arrest report continues to be processed Wednesday morning, BocaNewsNow.com has reviewed citations issued by the Florida Atlantic University police department. According to those citations, Sinopoli is accused of running a stop sign near the intersection of University Drive and Arts Avenue, crashing into a crosswalk sign, trying to leave the scene, and ultimately, DUI.

A second citation indicates that Sinopoli refused to take part in a field sobriety test and additionally refused to provide a breath or blood alcohol sample. That led to an automatic license suspension. The citation states that Sinopoli’s license was surrendered at the scene. The official charges filed against Sinopoli when she was booked into jail: DUI, child neglect without great bodily harm, resisting arrest, and hit and run. She was booked into jail and later released on $2,250 bond. A court date is pending.

BocaNewsNow.com has previously reported on police interactions involving Sinopoli. She was jailed twice but charges were ultimately not pursued by prosecutors in Palm Beach County following her arrests in March and May of 2015.
