DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two residents of the senior living community of Kings Point Delray Beach were arrested Sunday. That means at least 29 Kings Point residents have been jaile din 2024, and 49 jailed since the start of 2023. BocaNewsNow.com’s unofficial records indicate that more Kings Point Delray Beach residents are jailed than residents of any other senior living community in South Palm Beach County.

According to records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Bethany Rucco, 60, of the Flanders section of Kings Point was arrested late Sunday night and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 12:06 Monday morning. She is charged with driving on a suspended license for the “third or subsequent” time. She remains in jail early Monday morning. It was not immediately clear where she was stopped or what led Boca Raton police to initiate contact with Rucco.

Also arrested in a separate incident: Gregory Ardente of the Seville section of Kings Point. Ardente, 73, was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office Sunday evening and booked into jail around 11 p.m. He is charged with one count of “Battery on a person 65 years of age or older.” The arrest report had not been processed as of early Monday. We’ll update with specifics of the charge once the report is logged. His first appearance in court is later Monday morning.
