The area of 399 NW 20th Street in Boca Raton is closed following a critical crash Tuesday evening. Police remain on the scene as of 7:45 p.m. (Apple Maps).

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A teen on a dirt bike was critically injured Tuesday night when that bike was hit by the driver of a car in the area of 399 NW 20th Street. The teen was found on the ground in what BocaNewsNow.com is told is a varied state of consciousness.

City of Boca Raton paramedics administered emergency care on the scene and rushed the teen to Delray Medical Center in what is described to us as “extremely critical condition.” The suffered several major injuries in the crash.

The striking vehicle was initially described to BocaNewsNow.com as a luxury sedan, but no additional information was provided. The Boca Raton Police Department is handling the investigation.
