Ocean Boulevard remains closed in the area of the crash as Boca Raton Police investigate exactly what happened. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene. It was not immediately clear what led to the crash.

The stretch of Ocean Boulevard is popular with bicyclists but also extremely dangerous, as vehicle drivers and bicyclists battle for space on the road that runs along side the ocean.
