DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The first arrest of a South Palm Beach County resident in 2025 is a Delray Beach resident taken into custody early this morning and booked into jail around 6:40 a.m. Justin Salcedo was released mid-afternoon on Wednesday.
According to jail records obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Salcedo was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license. He is additionally charged with DUI — driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $1250. Salcedo lives in the 5600 block of Atlantic Avenue.

Salcedo’s arrest was quickly followed by the arrest of Lynn Marcia Louisdort of Boynton Beach. The resident of Manatee Bay Drive is charged with DUI. She was arrested by Florida HIghway Patrol and remains in jail as of 5 p.m. Wednesday. She was booked into jail at 6:55 a.m.

The first arrest of 2025 was Edgar Vazquez-Mendoza of Lake Worth Beach. He is charged with DUI and operating a motor vehicle without a license for the second time. He was booked into jail at 12:13 Wednesday morning. He remains held on $2,000 bond. It is possible that other arrests will be recorded by Palm Beach County that bumps these arrested individuals from their spots, but this is accurate as of 5 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
