BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 77-year-old resident of Century Village in Boca Raton has been arrested for the second time in just five days. Michael Golden of Wolverton B remains in the Palm Beach County Jail Thursday morning. Bond has not been set.

According to a police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Golden was first arrested on January 3rd following an incident at an area salon. The report says that he became enraged when the salon accidentally overcharged his wife for a pedicure. She wanted to let it go. Him, allegedly, not so much. While there was apparently no significant incident at the salon, Golden allegedly called his wife an “f-ing b—h” and struck her while driving back to Century Village.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and PBSO responded to the area of their condo where the alleged victim refused treatment. A PBSO Deputy noted that she had a notable injury to her face. While the Deputy wrote up the report, she then allegedly called to tell the Deputy that she didn’t want to pursue charges. Mr. Golden then summoned the Deputy to apologize and to say that he “snapped.” That was enough for the Deputy to arrest Michael Golden and charge him with domestic battery. He was booked into jail and later released with the condition that he stay away from his wife.

But Golden allegedly violated the “no contact” order. While the latest arrest report continues to be processed, the Palm Beach County Jail reports that Golden was arrested again on Wednesday afternoon and charged with “contempt of court — offender violate no contact order.” He was taken into custody by PBSO. His first appearance is expected at some point on Thursday.
