Welcome To Boca Rudeton For Sunday, The Place Where Self Absorbed Dog Owners — And Others — Embarrass Themselves In Public…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Those disgusting people with their disgusting dogs continue to clog stores, restaurants, and other local places as they tell the normal residents of South Palm Beach County that they couldn’t care less about health or safety. That’s the takeaway from this week’s collection of Boca Rudeton submissions.

We start at Yogurt Emporium at 6063 SW 18th Street in Boca Raton where our tipster captured five — count ’em, five — dogs in the restaurant at the same time. Just one dog is technically illegal, so you’ve got to wonder what direction Yogurt Emporium ownership is looking that it doesn’t see that it’s got a problem. Wrote our tipster: “Five dogs brought into shop by customers all at the same time. Their attitudes were arrogant and entitled. When told by other customers they were in violation of the law, they laughed and called them pathetic. A truly disgusting and obnoxious display by our very entitled Boca visitors and residents and their dogs, who believe they are above the law.”

Just in case you want a better view of the people involved, here’s a larger look at the photo we received:

At Yogurt Emporium on 18th Street in Boca Raton, our tipster says the dog problem is disgusting and out of control. We ask why these customers are so needy that they need to bring their dogs with them for FroYo.

We move next to nearby Golf, FL, where the man, below, apparently needed his dog to go shopping at the Publix at 11200 South Military Trail. Publix has signs all over its stores — in large part thanks to BocaNewsNow.com’s reporting — reminding customers that it’s illegal and a violation of store policy to bring a pet into Publix. Of course, maybe the ball of fuzz is actually a highly trained service animal that can save a life. Maybe.

Publix bans pets in compliance with federal and Florida law. We’re not sure why this man his what appears to be his in the store at 11200 South Military Trail in Golf.

Our next stop: Panera Bread at Yamato and Second Avenue in Boca Raton. That’s where this woman brought her dog without a leash. The dog shouldn’t be in the restaurant to start with, but bringing the dog in without a leash violates leash laws as well as health codes. She apparently told our tipster that she knows it’s wrong, but that her dog just doesn’t want to be left alone. We remind all the needy people out there who can’t leave their dogs alone: most places deliver.

Not just a dog in a restaurant, but a dog in a restaurant without a leash. That was the scene in Panera Bread at Yamato and Second Avenue in Boca Raton.

Now it’s parking time. Let’s head to Costco in Boca Raton where our tipster wonders why the driver of this Dodge with Florida license plate QTLR39 decided to park in a lane of traffic instead not in a lane of traffic. Good question.

%%
Parking spots are for parking. Lanes of traffic are for driving. The driver of this Dodge seen at Costco in Boca Raton may need a bit of a refresher.

Let’s head over now to the Reserve shopping center at Clint Moore Road and U.S. 441 where parking selfishness never disappoints. That’s where we find a Mercedes with Florida plate 91EXUC blocking several cars when the driver just decided to plant the car where it was convenient. Again, Florida plate 91EXUC — you’re only blocking three cars. Maybe next time try for four?

Boca Rudeton Clint Moore 441
This Mercedes is so special it can park wherever it wants. Except it’s not, and it can’t. Although it did at the Reserve shopping center at U.S. 441 and Clint Moore Road.

And we wrap this edition with the driver of this Jaguar who decided to just leave his or her car IN A LANE OF TRAFFIC in the parking garage at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. If your car has Florida plate PJHP78 and you can’t find your car when you come home, you probably should check with the Broward Sheriff’s Office. We’re hoping they tow it — and maybe destroy it — to send a message that you can’t just leave your car wherever you want. There were two tickets on the window when our tipster shared this early Sunday. Maybe a third ticket leads to an impound lot. We can only hope.

%%
No, you can’t just park your car anywhere in a parking garage at FLL. You actually have to find a space.

Another view of the illegally parked Jag at FLL. Complete with tickets.

So who is our winner this week? Stiff competition but the winner has to be the group of people with five dogs in Yogurt Emporium. It’s really special that these people are so needy that they can’t even get yogurt without bringing their little fuzzballs of love with them, so everyone can experience dog hair and whatever else they leave behind. To these people we award you a container of Clorox wipes, or the cheaper Amazon basics version. You clearly need to have your approach to community cleaned up. (No one wants your dog where they buy food!) We also offer Yogurt Emporium its own container of wipes — and who knows, maybe a visit from a health inspector.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. 1. I appreciate these weekly posts of rude and illegal behavior. I personally love dogs, but in proper surroundings. My question is whether the people reporting violations of health laws are sending these pictures to the Florida Department of Health for enforcement. It is likely that an establishment that permits five dogs (with five different owners) at the same time, fails to ask people to remove their animals on a regular basis. So, FDOH would have a strong chance of catching violations at other times. Not only the store owners, but the dog owners should be fined for their indiscretions. A couple of fines might change their habits.

  2. You’re seriously reaching in all of these. Don’t leave journalism to non journalists and non investigators. The dogs are definitely a problem where food is served. But the parking issues are a result of holiday overcrowding. The malls and Costco allow parking against curbs when there are no spots. Airport too. The Mercedes has its hazards on and probably could have waited for a space but these are not things any of us wouldn’t try. AND, they aren’t in Boca so not Boca rude!!!
